Terms and Conditions

Weddings 

       1.     Booking: 

(i) As of 1 November 2023, a 20% non-refundable deposit is requested to secure the date of your wedding. 

(ii) Full payment is requested 8 weeks prior to the date of your wedding. 

(iii) In the event that the client fails to make payment prior to the wedding, the photographer has the right to not attend the event OR the photographer may attend the wedding but has the right to refuse to send across any images from the wedding until payment is received. 

 

       2.    Pre-Wedding Consultation:

(i) Around 8 weeks before the Client(s) wedding day, the Photographer will send a pre-wedding consultation form which will need to be signed and returned before attending a face-to-face consultation with the Photographer around 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. The face-to-face consultation will be so the Photographer and Client(s) can get to know each other, discuss the day in further detail and discuss any questions or queries the Photographer and/or the Client(s) may have.

 

       3.    Cancellation fees, date and package changes:

(i) If the Client(s) wish to change the date of the booking and the photographer has the date available, no additional charges will apply and written consent will be required. However if the Client(s) wish to change the date of the booking and the new date is booked, the photographer cannot take responsibility for this and therefore no refunds will be given.

(i) The Client(s) may amend their package at any time. If the Client(s) wish to upgrade the package, the Client(s) have to pay the difference as required. If the Client(s) wish to de-grade and reduce the hours of the booking of the day, the difference will not be refunded.

(iii) If the Client(s) should have to cancel the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.

(iv) If the Client(s) cancel their booking up to 6 weeks prior to the wedding date, the payment will not be refunded.

(v) The Photographer will not charge the Client(s) for any extra if their overtime on the day is reasonable. 

 

      4.    Images:

(i) The Client(s) will receive a sample of edited images within 48 hours after your wedding day.

(ii) All edited images will be provided to the Client(s) on a digital link which the Client(s) will be able to access and download. Turnaround time for images is estimated between 4-6 weeks and this can change depending on the time of year the Client(s) wedding is.

(iii) The Client(s) vendors must ask for the Photographer’s permission to use the images on their social media and websites if needed.

(iv) The Client(s) images will be used on the Photographer’s socials and website. The Client(s) must make the Photographer aware of any images they wish to not be shared.

 

      5.    Limitation of Liability:

Force Majeure:

(i) The due performance of the contract is subject to cancellation or alteration by the Photographer owing to any cause beyond their control (e.g injury/sudden illness)

(ii) The Photographer may contact other photographers in replacement to attend the Client(s) wedding. However depending on the notice period, this may prove difficult when finding a photographer with the same skillset.

(iii) If the event of the Photographer cancelling, the Client(s) will be entitled to their whole payment refunded.  

Failure to Deliver:

(i) The photographer shall not be held liable for delays in the delivery of such Work Product, or any Work Product undeliverable, due to technological malfunctions, service interruptions that are beyond the control of Photographer (including as a result of delays in receipt of instructions from Client) and for Work Product that fails to meet the specifications due to the actions of Client or attendees at the Wedding that are beyond the control of Photographer (e.g., camera flashes).

Lifestyle Events /
Other Shoots

     1.    Booking:

(ii) Full payment is requested 8 weeks prior to the date of your wedding. 

       2.    Cancellation fees, date and package changes:

(i) If the Client(s) wish to change the date of the booking and the photographer has the date available, no additional charges will apply and written consent will be required. However if the Client(s) wish to change the date of the booking and a new date is booked, the photographer cannot take responsibility for this and therefore no refunds will be given.

(i) The Client(s) may amend their package at any time. If the Client(s) wish to upgrade the package, the Client(s) have to pay the difference as required. If the Client(s) wish to de-grade and reduce the hours of the booking of the shoot, the difference will not be refunded.

(iii) If the Client(s) should have to cancel the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.

(iv) If the Client(s) cancel their booking up to 5 days prior to the shoot date, the payment will not be refunded.

 

      3.    Images:

(i) The Client(s) will receive a sample of edited images within 24 hours after your shoot.

(ii) All edited images will be provided to the Client(s) on a digital link which the Client(s) will be able to access and download. Turnaround time for images is estimated between 1-2 weeks.

(iii) The Client(s) images will be used on the Photographer’s socials and website. The Client(s) must make the Photographer aware of any images they wish to not be shared.
